Paper wraps, 43 pp., letter by Daniel Dewey Barnard (1797-1861) opposing the action against Trinity church in New York City under the Church Property Bill. Barnard, a New York Assemblyman and U.S. Congressman, was retired and living in Albany, NY when he wrote this letter. Wraps are soiled, bottom front corner has a small crease.
