Sobre este artículo
London: Wells Gardner, Darton & Co, 1904. Hardcover. Introduction by Richard Garnett. Illustrations by Edmund J. Sullivan. 12mo. Burgundy cloth with gilt lettering, decorations and pictorial stamping. xxiv, 309pp. Top edge gilt. Tissue-guarded frontispiece, numerous small line drawings. Very good. Faintest of mild edgewear, else internally tight and near fine. A superb early edition of this 1904 illustrated edition of Goldsmith's 1760 letters supposedly written by Lien Chi, a Chinese traveller in England. A lovely copy with gleaming gilt.
