The spine a trifle lighter than covers and the gilt spine lettering is dull but legible. The gilt cover decoration is brght. There is a small previous owner embossed monogram on the upper corner of the front end paper, else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book. ; B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 289 pages .
