Sobre este artículo
Boston: Ticknor and Fields, 1865. First edition. Posthumous collection of Thoreau's letters to family and friends, including Ralph Waldo Emerson, who edited this work. Also includes nine poems. BAL 20116, binding variant A, presumed to be the first one. Original green HC (pebbled) cloth. A good, strong, and still attractive copy with endpapers cracking at hinges though hinges still tight, cloth at spine ends apparently strengthened at some point but now chipped away; few marginal chips to text, and gilt on spine just a little dulled.
