Sobre este artículo

Columbia University Press, 1977-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 2 Volume Hardcover set, First Edition 1967 Columbia University Press Vol 1 has 302 pages and Vol 2 continues the pagination and ends at 628. Both books are Near Fine in NF DJ's. Black cloth with gilt titles - corners sharp. Just a hint of shelf/edge wear to unclipped DJ's - now in mylar. Only flaw is the rear flap of Vol 2 DJ has a small crease. Highly selective collection of letters (some 500 from more than 4000 available pieces) from politicians, friends, chance acquaintances and members of the Yeats family. Spanning Yeat's mature lifetime from 1886 to 1939, these previously unpublished letters chosen from the correspondence of some 160 people will cast new light not only on Yeats mind and art but also on the troubled political relations of Ireland and England, includes selections from colleagues in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and friends in the Society for psychical research. Highly recommended. Vol 1 is ISBN-0231044240 and Vol 2 is ISBN-0231044259.LOC SSS-37
