Part of the Black Americans of Achievement series. Signed presentation from Norman (Latimer's grand-daughter) on the front endpaper: "To Mrs. Constance Cooke- big supporter of Lewis H. Latimer and his works, From Dr. Winifred Latimer Norman." Cooke was the former director of the Queens Borough Public Library, which houses Latimer's papers. A nice association copy!
