Early edition of Lieutenant Bones by Edgar Wallace in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. An undated reprint edition. Dated from the most recent publication listed to the dust wrapper. Edgar Wallace was a prolific English writer, who wrote over one hundred and seventy novels and nearly a thousand short stories. Lieutenant Bones is the seventh work in Wallace's Sanders of the River series fictionalising an explorer in Africa. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is spotting to the fore edge. The hinges are strained but firm. The dust wrapper is worn to the extremities, with some slight loss to the head and tail of the spine, and some more small creases, tears and age toning. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
