Later printing. The illustrations, which are hand colored, are facsimiles of those in the first edition. 257pp. Large 8vo., red cloth, black rules along the top and bottom edge, lettered in gilt to spine and upper board, illustrated vignette in gilt to upper board, top edge gilt, black glazed endpapers. The text and brightly colored illustrations are clean and fresh; the cloth is soiled and edgeworn, with shallow loss to crown of spine. Contemporary ink ownership to verso of front free endpaper. Overall, a very good copy.
