Hardcover with dust jacket, published by On Military Matters. First published in 1815, this is the 1996 reprint edition. The most well known source for the life of Field Marshal Prince Blucher. Battlefield Commander during the Napoleonic Wars, famously injured during the Battle of Ligny. 429 pages with Index, 5-3/4" X 8-3/4". The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped, original price of $40 is printed on the bottom corner of the front flap. High quality orange-red cloth covered cover boards, with the title and author printed on the spine in silver. Cover boards are flat, the corners are not bumped or worn. There is an erased pencil mark of a former bookstore price and inventory number on the top corner of the first endpaper. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages besides that erased pencil mark. Fore edge has some faint age foxing dots. Binding is tight and square. This is not a remainder copy, not a library discard copy. The dust jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
