Sobre este artículo

1656 1ed James Ussher Life & Death Archbishop Dublin IRELAND Irish Catholic RARE

"What is it which all men especially desire? Eternal life and happiness?"

– James Ussher, Body of Divinity

James Ussher was an early 17th-century Archbishop in the Church of Ireland who is most remembered for giving an exact date to the beginning of creation. His full body of work includes letters, sermons, dissertations, and exegeticals, but this work focuses solely on improving the Christians life and strengthening their faith. A biographical sketch of Ussher's life was written by Nicholas Bernard following the archbishop's death in 1656.
