He publicly committed sepukku in 1970 This biography is by a friend who searches for the meaning in such an act. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition (stated First Printing). Orange cloth binding with black lettering is bright and fresh. There is a previous-owner signature on the FFEP. Laid-in are two contemporary newspaper clippings about Mishima and his death, which have offset the endpapers. The dustjacket is unclipped; there is a closed 2" tear along the lower spine edge, else Near Fine. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
