Guildford: J. Russell. Good with no dust jacket. 1777. Leather. [4], 54, [3], 52-55, [4], 58-156 [3] -158 pp. Frontis plate of Abbot, folding plate of the hospital. Octavo. This is the variant of ESTC T66469, with no p. 43 in the errata page. ESTC shows author as William Oldys (1696-1761) or Anonymous. Probably original tree calf binding, front board detached, gilt ruling, corners rubbed, spine repaired probably in the 1800s with no gilt, rubbing and splitting to the spine. Book plate and stamps from the Law Society, this book was part of the Mendham Collection deaccessioned a few years ago. Some occasional foxing but other than the library marks, clean and unmarked. Oddly scarce, particularly with both plates. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 158 pages .
