Pages are clean and unmarked, with the exception of some light stains on page 79 and the few surrounding pages in volume 2. Many folding maps throughout. Marbled endpapers. Previous owner's signature on the flyleaf of the first volume. Red publisher's stain on the page edges. Bound in full brown leather with nice patterned tooling on the boards. 5 raised bands on the spines. Some light wear around the edges, and pines are lightly scuffed and worn, but overall an attractive, fresh set, especially for the age. "New edition". NF-. Hardcover. Near Fine-.
