A little over 100 years later, the editor retraced Ruxton's route from 1846 and found much of it unchanged. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition Thus (stated First Edition). Navy blue cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; 251 pages, indexed, and with two appendices. Previous-owner bookplate on the front paste-down, else Fine. Lacking the dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Thus. Hard Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket.
