Very good. Faint binding edgewear, else tight and internally bright and fine. A handsome later printing ("From the Fourth English Edition") of this popular 1857 biography of the "Father of Railways" (1781-1848), the renowned British mechanical and civil engineer. A superb copy from this publisher's "Self-Help Series.
