Inscribed, on the opp-first-free page, by Backhouse: "Philip Darbyshire Harrogate from his frd. Jas. Backhouse of York, 1864". The boards have wear about all edges, corners, seams. The spine has wear to the head and foot. The gilt titling and heading-borders are a little worn and benign. The boards have scuffing, handling and storage marks. They are steady, sure. The contents are most pleasing, especially taking the book's age into account. The pages do have some mild handling marks, storage marks. They are occasional. The pages are clean, clear, conscientious, careful, certain. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
