Outer wrapper has modest scuffing and wear. Text in English, Arabic and French. INSCRIBED by Marini on title-page ("To Ted Van Itallie Whom we would like to see more often in Lebanon Aida Marini Beirut on November 17th 1982"). Copy No. 1073 of 3000 numbered copies (25 copies sur papier arches special" numbered I-XXV were also published. Texts and reproductions from a series of woodcuts by Marini illustrating life in Lebanon. This book was inscribed in Beirut only a few months after Israel ended a summer siege of Beirut.
