London: Longmans, Green and Co, 1876. First edition. Bound in half tan calf with marbled boards and all page edges. Edges are bumped and worn. Marbled boards are in good condition. Raised bands to spine with gilt decoration and title labels. Gilding is faded and there is wear to the spine tops. Pages are age tanned with occasional slight foxing especially to prelims. Tissue guard to an engraving of Macaulay, frontispiece of Vol I, is torn. Bindings are tight. 1876
