Marbled endpapers, marbled edges. Some rubbing and thumbing on the cover and spine head, 1/3 inch scuff on edge of back cover, spine somewhat sunned, but pages bright and clean and binding square and tight. Prize label pasted inside front cover. A distinguished edition of the biography of Queen Victoria by the noted biographer and journalist George Barnett Smith, in an dignified binding with beautiful gilt details.
