Tight, clean, and textually unmarked copy, Near Fine. In the original pictorial dustwrapper, crisp and clean but with a small (1/8" diameter) marginal loss at base of rear panel, not touching text. Neat ink ownership signature to front endpaper (Samuel M. Kincaid), dated 1996.

Standard biography of the early trans-Allegheny pioneer, namesake of Wetzel County, West Virginia. This second edition was considerably expanded from the 140-pp 1932 edition. The author was Superintendent of Schools for Marshall County, WV.
