BOOK:- Binding is sound, no loose pages; maroon boards with gilt titles; rear board has triangular water bleach at top right quadrant, and an oval darkened stain, roughly thumb size, at 7 o'clock bottom left; front board has small circular stain, about 0.5cm squared, at 5 o'clock on bottom right; spine head and heel crush; no corner bumps ; FFEP has a dealer stamp at bottom left, and an erasure abrasion, approx fingernail size at 12 o'clock; top edge of the text block has small splash marks which do not encroach onto the page surfaces; uniform page browning; page 229/230 has a dog-ear crease at top corner. JACKET:- Intact, with price; mild edgewear; no tears or chipping; rear panel interior has triangular water stain coincident with the bleach on the rear board of the book; there is some show-through to the rear panel outer surface, and rear flap; small circular stain on front panel interior, no show-through.
