London: Bickers & Son, 1890. "Revised, Condensed and Completed" edition from 1890. No dustwrapper, green bevelled-edged boards have minor wear to outer corners and rather more so to the spine ends, with a quarter-inch tear to the middle of top end of spine. Slight fading to spine, but gilt decoration thereon is still bright, as is the gilt decoration on front board. Binding just barely starting to loosen at half-title and at title page, foxing to outer pages, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Originally published in three volumes in 1839-41, this is a later, "Revised, Condensed and Completed" edition from 1890. 387pp, 12 b&w illustrations, folding plan of Battle of Waterloo.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
