Pages are bright with moderate tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Hinge is slightly cracked with binding exposed. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened on spine.
