A Limited Edition, this copy is no. 7 of fifty copies printed.Signed and with a personal inscription from the author to the title page: 'I give this book to Guy, in case, if ever he should go the pace and be reduced, in L.S.D., unhappily, to the likes of me, - He yet, disdaining charity may batten on its Rarity'.Set in Gloucestershire, this 'comedy in three acts' was selected for publication by the Reading Committee of the British Drama League. In the publisher's original quarter paper vellum binding, with paper covered boards. Light discolouration to back strip, with bumping to spine head and tail. Light mark to tail of front board. Internally, firmly bound. Signed and with an inscription from the author to the limitation page. Pages clean and bright. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
