Stitched and photographically illustrated buff stiff paper wrappers printed in red and gold. Illustrated with photographs. No typeset text, all the captions and borders were almost certainly drawn by Morgan Shepard. Unusual pressed grass and bark endpapers. Very near fine. Nicely designed and uncommon photographically illustrated children's book depicting the adventures of Baby Roland (Hansen's son), a lovable scamp who mostly stands around and looks cute. In this adventure, he eats lima beans in a high chair! Hansen was a Canadian architect who was debilitated late in life and amused himself by taking Kodak photographs. These photographs were taken at his Berkeley. California home. This is number three of the five Roland books, in unusually nice condition.
