All edges untrimmed. Gilt dentelles on the edges of the boards and on the inside of the cover. Inside dentaling is 3/4" wide with the initials "ML" in gilt. End pages are patterned. Printed on heavy Papier de Rives. "Rives" is watermarked on many pages below the text area. "Edition Goupil" is watermarked on the right side of the text."B. T. H." watermarked on the bottom of the title page. Frontispiece has a beautiful color Illustration of Marie-Louise. Very many plates Very small nicks at the top and bottom of the spine near the hinges.
