London: Eyre & Spottiswode, 1948 Copy in blue cloth on boards in unclipped D/J.Board spine lightly sunned. Jacket front and back have become detached. Jacker spine lightly sunned and some foxing to upper and lower jacket edges. Jacket chipped around edges with small pieces missing at head/foot of spine. Slight offsetting to front and rear end papers. Previous owners inscriptions on front paste down and FFE. Small booksellers label on front paste down. Occasional light foxing to folio fore-edges. Clean text with b/w plates.
