Christopher Columbus Brown (1834-1904) worked as an attorney in Illinois. Brown was acquainted with Abraham Lincoln from Lincoln's lawyer days. In "Lincoln as Seen by C. C. Brown," Brown relates several anecdotes concerning Lincoln, including a legal case that involved murder. This booklet was edited by Wayne C. Temple, Ph.D., Department of Lincolniana at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee in 1963. It was published in an edition of "approximately 300 copies.".
