With several black & white illustrations and photos as well as a couple of maps. --- In full pale blue and maroon paper-covered boards with spine titling in greenish foil. Jacket with photo of the Soldiers' Home to front panel. --- A clean, tightly-bound, bright copy but with a spot of printer's ink to dedication page and prior owner's signature to front free endpaper. Unclipped jacket lacks damages, is wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Tall Octavo - 9 to 10 in. tall; xiv, 256 pages .
