The New York Public Library Catalogue of books on Mormonism is both early and quite extensive, covering 1750 items relating to the Mormons. A large majority of the books were collected by William Berrian, from whose estate they were bought in December, 1899, by Helen Miller Gould and presented to the library. The arrangement of the material is alphabetical by author and includes full author, title, pagination, and place of publication. This scarce offprint first appeared in the Bulletin of the New York Public Library in march 1909. Besterman 4021
