R.U. [Rutgers?] Library deaccession bookplate on front paste-down and on top of dust jacket flap. Selections from Thoreau works made by Thomas Coke Watkins. See BAL 20209 for the first edition of 1906. Condition of this set: Slipcase tape-repaired and lacking its top edge. Parchment wrapper and covers darkened, overall very good. Size: 18mo. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
