Not dated, C. late 1940s price on inner flap of dust jacket has torn off, 16 titles including this one listed on back panel of dust jacket. Size 24mo, 48 pages. Beige cloth with brown titles and brown and white frames to front cover and paper illustration pasted on, with dust jacket with illustration "Sawest not you mine oxen, you little pretty boy?" Book condition very good, corners and edges rubbed, pages slightly toned else very clean throughout. Dust jacket condition good, corners and edge rubbed, tail of spine chipped, 2.5 cm tear inner upper corner of front panel without loss, a couple of minor tears without loss, handling marks, spine slightly sunned, price on inner flap torn off. Old Nursery Rhymes for Children beautifully illustrated by the author
