Boston: L.C. Page & Company. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. 1956. Twenty-Ninth Printing. Hardcover. 318 + ads p. 19.5 cm. Sound and square binding in red, cloth-covered boards, with gilt titles and decoration on the upper board and spine. Minor wear to the corner tips and spine ends. Text block edges are foxed. Gift inscription, crayon mark, and inked price on the front free endpaper. Otherwise the inside pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has heavy wear including a large chip on the front panel which affects the title. It has some cello tape repairs on the reverse side. One of the titles in the Little Colonel series, originally published in 1907. Includes a black and white frontispiece by Etheldred B. Barry. No other illustrations. .
