Racine, WI: Whitman Publishing, 1934 (1934). Corners and spine ends worn, gift inscrption, else clean; the matching dust jacket is missing pieces along the edges and there are long tears. Three fairy tales, Little King, Hansel and Grethel & Sleeping Beauty as retold by Mary Windsor. Color plates by Hans Pellar, though uncredited. Pellar's artwork originally appeared in Der Kleine Konig in 1909. The color plates, here are not as vibrant and lack the gilt accents which appear in the original. That said, it is still a pretty book of fairy tales.. Illustrated Boards. Very Good/Poor. Illus. by Hans Pellar. Folio.
