Sharp reprint edition, after the original published in 1952, of this story of a West African boy and his friends in the jungle. Illustrated by Grace Huxtable with somewhat questionable and politically incorrect renderings of the title character. Square, tight and clean throughout. Some toning and light soiling to wraps. A pretty collectable copy of a quite scarce title.
