Sobre este artículo
American Tract Society , ca.1873. Acceptable. Presumed first ed.; 64 p., plus 16-page catalog of "Children's books With Elegant Illustrations," unmarked except for names of former owners in childish handwriting & penciled price of $25 from former seller, but some pages are quite smudged. 18mo. Surprisingly free of tears--paper is very fine and strong. Wonderful engravings. Front gutter cracked just after frontis, and the first of the sewn signatures is detached. Volume is square and pictorial boards are sturdy, though faded, stained and with edge wear. Gilt on stamped lettering mostly effaced.
