First American edition, this copy inscribed & signed in black marker at the copyright page by the illustrator: For Morgan (printed) - "Now for Marty (?)/ with love/ Sarah Moon." 8vo (8.75" 6.25"), 40 unnumbered pages, with illustrations throughout from photographs. Publisher's glossy pictorial paper over boards, without dust jacket as issued.
Small bruise at the bottom edge of the boards, otherwise fine.
Features haunting illustrations by fashion model turned photographer Sarah Moon (born Marielle Warin) who posed her daughter as subject for these images.
