I have always kept this book with me. I first read this book when I was an adventure seeking ten year old boy. Fifty-four years ago.I always pictured myself as the boy and his dog going fishing/hunting that's portrayed on the cover. It sits among my collection of classics. Over the years I have revisited this book several times. My book's condition is that of a much loved and respected part of an adventurist ten year old boy history.
