B&W Illustrations; This is a special edition, published as a keepsake "for children of all ages" for Christmas 1956. The book is in Very Good and is lacking a dust jacket. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light bumping and rubbing. There is a light crack to the front spine joint at the bottom edge. The spine and portions of the front cover have some fading and sunning. The text pages are mostly clean and bright. There is some glue residue toning to the reverse of the frontispiece and the title page where the dates have been tipped-on. This is a private publication of the story as a Christmas gift, Publishing in an unknown number and for unknown persons. .
