Sobre este artículo
New York: HarperCollins, 2012. First Edition. . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. This tenth novel from Lehane won the 2013 Edgar Award for best novel. It's the story of Joe Coughlin, the youngest son of a prominent Boston Police captain. Coughlin turned his back on his polite and proper upbringing to become during Prohibition one of organized crime's most feared gangsters. 404 pages quarter-bound in yellow cloth over grey boards with blue lettering on the spine. First Printing, First Edition. Boards and text are near perfect, clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. The dustjacket shows just a touch of wear at the corners and spine ends. No tears, no chipping or creasing, not price-clipped. This historical crime-thriller is Lehane at his best, which is very good indeed.
