London, UK: David Nutt, 1910. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 362pp, with over 200 illustrations by the author, page decorations, head and tail pieces and initial caps. In decorated, illustrated, cloth-covered boards with gilt detailing and lettering. Top edge gilt, all other edges deckled. Title page printed in red and black. 8vo. Boards a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, a few mild marks, text block edges a little dust darkened. Prize presentation plate on front paste down, dated 1909, and perhaps a hint of toning on margins of prelim pages, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A beautiful volume.
