Sobre este artículo

London / Germany: Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Co., Ltd. ; Kraus, 1925. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Please read entire description to attain a fuller understanding of the nature of the bindings, the overall condition, and bibliographical notes. This set consists of 18 volumes bound in 19 physical volumes (Volume 1 bound as 2). Ex-library set. Volumes are largely uniform in appearance, though the set is comprised of volumes from several publishers, including 4 reprints from the 1960's by Kraus. The first 13 volumes are noted as being a second edition, while the others do not note any edition. Volumes 1-12 were printed in 1925, volumes 13-14 in 1964, volume 15 in 1929, volume 16 in 1932, and volumes 17-18 in 1966. Cloth is in burgundy, with largely bright gilt lettering to spine. Volumes admit to minor to small bumps in places at extremities, with light to medium wear and light soiling in places on exterior, though this isn't offensive. The covers of the final two volumes admit to a kind of mottled appearance to cloth, though this isn't terrible. Mild spacing to a few volumes at gutters, though bindings remain largely and almost uniformly firm. Mild tanning to paper. With fold-outs and illustrations, though several volumes (exact number of volumes is unknown) lack illustrations (as noted in volumes) due to repercussions of World War I. Overall, remains a good, clean, sound, user friendly set with no apparent internal markings, aside from library treatments
