Privately published in a limited edition of 500 copies by Mobil Nigeria, December 1971. The boards and slipcase have been individually covered in adire from Abeokuta ( a batik-like textile) for this deluxe edition. Additionally, this copy has been inscribed for Walter K. Wilson (Editorial Consultant on this project) by others involved in the project as well: William Fagg (editor), Derek Birdsall (art director), Fiona MacGregor (art editor), David Herbert ( Studio Vista Publisher), Michael Foreman (illustrator), and Peccinotti ( photographer). 4 pages of production details written by Walter K. Wilson are laid in. Blue adire cloth boards with leather spine. Spine shows light edgewear. Text pages are clean and crisp. Matching blue adire cloth slipcase is lightly frayed at corners, light oxidation to edges, slight soil.
