A Very Good hardback book with long gift inscription in WELSH on front endpaper = "Presented to Mr. Dilwyn Roberts of the Gwendraeth Historical Society ..." . Fine red cloth boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket, which is complete and not clipped but with a VERY SUNNED spine - light exposure - so much so that you can hardly make out the titling. Otherwise internally Very Clean, tight and bright. (x) + 502 pages. 13 chapters, index, a number of full-page monochrome reproductions. First chapter covers up to 1850; Subsequent chapters deal with a decade each up to the 1950s; Ends with a chapter covering 1960 onwards. Very heavily detailed, largely consists of extracts from contemporary local Llanelli newspapers. This book is overweight and will require extra postage for International buyers only depending on your location. See Images; Small Thick 4to 9" - 11" tall .
