A piece of populist propaganda published on the second anniversary of the revolution, praising the success of the new government and laying out the general plans for socio-economic development in Cuba. Roca led the communist party which operated clandestinely during Batista's dictatorship, and although initialy opposed to Castro's plan to overthrow Batista through guerrilla warfare, he ultimately led his party to join the revolutionary forces in the final months of campaign. Roca became a leading member of the ruling party in the post-revolutionary Cuba in the years that followed. Good, with some soiling and chipping, not affecting text or illustrations, front cover and first leaf detached from side staples which hold the six gatherings, but attached to its own gathering.
