[Detroit Photographic Company / Detroit Publishing Company, c.1900]. . This is a Polychrom print of Loch Lomond in Scotland, published by the Detroit Publishing Co. c.1900. It is numbered 13067. Size is about 22cm x 17cm. The number and title are printed on the front at the lower left. Verso is blank. Two scuffed areas at lower left, affecting the title, otherwise in fine condition. This publisher acquired the exclusive ownership and rights to the Photochrom process in America; Photochrom (Fotochrom, Photochrome or the Aäc process) is a process for producing colorized images from black-and-white photographic negatives via the direct photographic transfer of a negative onto lithographic printing plates. The process is a photographic variant of chromolithography.
