Sobre este artículo
Chicago: University of Chicago Press,, 1950. Presentation copy to his fellow philosopher and colleague Alan Gewirth First edition, first printing, presentation copy to a fellow American philosopher, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper "To Alan Gewith, cordially, Rudolf Carnap". An excellent provenance - Gewirth served as professor of philosophy at the University of Chicago, and authored various influential books and articles on the subject of rights. Gewirth has annotated the book in pencil, chiefly underlining with one marginal comment. Carnap also worked at the Chicago philosophy faculty, focusing on logic. In the present work he seeks to place the concept of probability as a purely logical concept, anchored in inductive inferences. It was the longest book of his career by far. Octavo. Original red cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Slight sunning and lean to spine, slight bumping at extremities. A very good copy.
