Flowery paper-covered boards with tan labels to the black spine and front board. Many pages unopened. Bottom of boards rubbed through as well as the corners. top and bottom. In the rare, unclipped jacket ($2.00) has been professionally restored, particularly to the spine. Donald S. Friede's copy with his bookplate on the front pastedown. Friede was a publisher and married M. F. K. Fisher.
