Sobre este artículo
Boston & New York: Houghton Mifflin Co.,, 1928. First edition, first printing. The book was originally published in 1901 with illustrations by E. Pollack; the Rackham illustrated version was only published in the US. Riall notes that "the text is printed on a poor and brittle paper, so it is a difficult title to find in good condition". Octavo. Original buff cloth, spine and upper cover lettered in black and orange, upper cover with design in black and orange. Frontispiece, decorated title page and 2 full-page illustrations printed in rose and turquoise, with black and white illustrations within the text, all by Arthur Rackham. Contemporary ownership inscription to front free endpaper with bookplate to front pastedown. Head and foot of spine slightly bumped, lower corners slightly rubbed, some light soiling, frontispiece and title page becoming slightly loose; a very good copy. Latimore and Haskell p. 63; Riall, p. 163.
