First printing, near fine cloth hardcover with pictorial cover shows a name at topof front endpaper and a light bit of shelf wear, in a near fine dust jacket (price at flap) that shows mild soil and toning to rear panel and some waviness to front panel common with this title due to applied laminate and open window showing illustration to cover. 504 pages nicely illustrated in black & white. Still a good looking copy of this social history that follows up the author's earlier Postscript to Yesterday.
